Tomorrow I promise easter bonnets, spring dresses, and two adorable girls from a session this week. Today, I wanted to share the view out of my window this morning. A spring snow....sigh...life is getting good at throwing curve balls. It was 80 at the beginning of the week. Stay warm. Until next time.
My MAC crashed today. Yikes. I was scared. We have been proofing and sending orders into production like mad this week. All of a sudden today my Mac had an acute mental status change. It wasn't oriented to person, place, or time. It didn't recoginize me at all, and actually thought it was brand new. All orders--gone. All actions--gone. All documents--gone. (did I mention taxes are due soon?) YIKES!
I can handle when my patients do this...often times I can even "fix" it when my patients become confused, but I am completely beyond my scope when my hardware looses its mind. Next stop....Genius Jason at Apple. He had never seen a MAC do this, but after 45 minutes with me on the phone we were on the right track. I am happy to report that my MAC has returned to normal. (exhale for me) Thanks Jason--you are indeed a Genius!
A few travel dates to keep in mind for booking sessions:
April 6-8th Closed for the Holiday. I will be checking email and voicemail sporadically
April 10-20th The studio will be closed, and I will have no email or telephone access. All requests for sessions or wedding contracts will be answered upon my return.
May 4-5th Studio closed, but I will be checking email and voicemail.
May 10-14 Studio closed, but I will be checking email and voicemail
Summer Sessions: There is only one weekend session left the month of June, and 3 weekday sessions.
Announcing the arrival of Max and Matt!! These adorable baby boys have the *longest* eyelashes I have ever seen on newborns, and were most content when snuggled cose together.
I have heard this statement at least 3 times in the past four days in conversation, and it is soo true. I am so lucky, and cultivating that spirit of gratitude brings so many unexpected blessings into my life.
Today however, the blessing came in a brown box from our superstar UPS man. While I was in Las Vegas for WPPI Andy was determined to find a suitable point and shoot camera for his personal use. His search was over when Jinky showed up sporting a fabulous purse and a tiny little camera that packs a big punch. Once held held the Canon PowerShot SD630 he was officially smitten and just had to have one.
You know where this going, don't you? Yes, the camera arrived today, and we spent the evening photobooth style, outstretched arms, taking self portraits and being super goofy. Tonight's blog images were taken by The Thymius Boys--being boys. I have to agree that we are all lucky...and sometimes the smallest moments hold the most charm.

I assure you, I am here, and there, and everywhere. Sometimes all at once it seems. The past several months have been filled with photo sessions, traveling, conferences (wait until you see the new fabulous product I found at WPPI), and life. I apologize for any lapses in communications. The transition to the new computer system is finally finding a groove, and I anticipate being easier to locate in the coming months. Spring Sessions are quickly filling up, and watch for the launching of the new websites over the next several weeks.
I look forward to catching everyone up the new products at the studio just in time for Spring and Summer sessions. For now, I would like to send a HUGE shout out and Congratulations to Miss Emily. Just named Salutatorian for Mountain State Academy!! Emily is a beautiful, articulate, and simply brilliant young lady. She hasn't announced where she is attending college, but I have heard that Syracuse *may* be her final choice. (there are 8 schools vying for her currently)
